Calendar of Events
Hidden Brook Farm offers a variety of dressage schooling shows, clinics, and an annual student show. Shows and clinics are offered from May through October while the annual student show is held every November, to commemorate the founding of the farm.
Highlights
- Dressage Schooling Shows
These shows offer introductory through FEI levels, rated judges, and placing first through seventh and overall high point and reserve for junior and senior riders. Scores count toward end of year awards with Western Maine Dressage and Eventing Association and Maine Dressage Society.
Every student riding at HBF is eligible to compete in these shows. This kind of competition helps students obtain an objective analysis of their training and developing skills. - Clinics
These offer riders the opportunity to experience a more intense, immersive training session with high level and Olympic trainers.
Through clinics, riders at HBF can stretch past their comfort zones and really integrate high level training and skills in dressage. - Annual Student Show
This is a fun filled annual show that includes competition, games, demonstrations, and more. The games require skill, coordination, and horse-rider teamwork. A sense of humor is a must!
This show is a collaboration and coming together of everyone at the farm. There are drills, rides, equitation and pleasure classes, and challenging games for students and their horses that bring everyone together for a day filled with horsemanship! Awards are given for students who have competed in dressage shows, for our own students who have competed, and for students who have gone above and beyond in their own learning process. While fun, there is also a great educational and cooperative element to these annual shows! - Do you have an event you want
